“It probably took me five minutes to pick up my jaw after I saw my Silpen portrait of my puppy, Jade. The artistry in this portrait is beyond anything I can describe in words. Her personality shines through. Her eyes are calm, loving, and curious – just like her. It looks exactly like her. I feel like I can reach out and pet her. Jade will live forever in this portrait.” – Stefan and Melody |

“Sky, I just received the portrait of Penny. I absolutely love it. It is so much more than I ever expected. Not only does the portrait look like her by capturing her expression exactly, the intricacy of the artwork is amazing. The fur in her portrait matches her actual fur perfectly-even down to her whiskers and the cowlicks on her chest. It’s so realistic. The artist who created this work of art is truly blessed in her talent. She made Penny come alive in silk. Please express my thanks to her as well. I am going to cherish it forever. Thank you so much for creating this artwork for me and my family. ” – Marita |

“Walter’s portrait. It is truly beautiful to look at its vibrancy and disposition make it so lifelike. Walter’s handsome face with his regal expression has been captured perfectly in silk for us to have forever. The color and the textures make it appear so lifelike as the light plays with the silk. We are so delighted with this work of art and I would encourage all my Friends to get one. I have never seen his features and expressions captured in such a tangible way. I want to reach over and stroke his silky soft fur. Thank you so much Sky for this beautiful portrait of our adored Walter. It will always take a prominent place in our home as we want to share it with everyone who passes by.” – Karen and Yves |

“Words cannot describe how beautiful Chocolates’ portrait is. My dear best friend passed away in November 2012 and I have missed him every single day since that fateful morning. The moment I saw the portrait I finally felt we were together again. Pictures nor words can describe the beauty this masterpiece holds. In order to truly appreciate the love that was put into the picture it has to be seen in person. Every detail down to the stray hairs on his ears and his little pink nose were exact replicas of him. The color of the silk was almost as if it was his real hair. Every time I look at his picture I see something new and intricate. The texture, colors and depth I just can’t stop looking at it let alone touch it. For more than 20 minutes I was trembling with joy and overcome with emotion because it was just so real and to think this was hand stitched and no detail was overlooked. Chocolate had a distinct hair pattern on his neck and the artist was able to capture that as well as the expression in his eyes. When my family members saw the portrait they were speechless. Immediately they said “wow that’s his sun tanning face” To have a portrait bring you back in time and forget everything is the most precious and priceless thing in this world.” – Mala |
